Plot: Two active females lounging on a pier – one challenges the other to a race to the island in the middle of the lake, reward dinner. The challenger jumps in the water and starts swimming to the island without waiting – the other female pulls our her iPhone and opens the Maverik Adventure App – a super cool Paddle Board falls from the sky, she jumps on and sails past the swimmer. Once she gets to the island she waits for the swimmer. Maverik, Adventures First Stop.

Girl and Guy #1 are on date. They are in a seemingly happy relationship. Girl is seen cheating on Guy #1 with Guy #2 and now there is a love triangle. Eventually Guy#1 finds out about Guy #2 and burns a symbolic heart with Gasoline. Guy #1 and Girl are separated.
Character Breakdown:
Guy #1: Lead / 18-25 / Male / Caucasian or Hispanic, handsome, strong, charming, extremely in love with Girl #1, gullible, happy, cheerful, emotionally vulnerable, and is able to express emotion extremely clearly with the eyes if wearing a masquerade mask

Sound Tech: A sound technician who can help all day long for our event on 9/2/12. This person should have a basic knowledge of simple audio set up including how to wire and generally mic a band. This person will be responsible for helping with the entire load in and load out of both stage venues as well as helping set up each venue properly. This person will also be in charge of running the smaller venue alone. This venue will have one microphone for announcements and light background music for the duration of the show. This person must be able to turn on one microphone when announcements are needed as well as turning off and on light background music from an I pod between announcements. This person should have a strong work ethic and needs to be capable of working at a quick pace for extended hours. This person should be capable of heavy lifting or moving. Must be cautious when handling expensive equipment. Position is Paid.
Stage hands: Two stage hands to help with load in and load out of both venues for our event on 9/2/12. Stage hands should have a basic knowledge of working in entertainment events and should be capable of heavy lifting or moving. This person should have a strong work ethic and needs to be capable of working at a quick pace for extended hours. Must be cautious when handling expensive equipment. Those with audio experience are strongly preferred. Position is Paid at 4 hours Max.

Tahoe Production House is collecting Resumes and Demo Reels for an upcoming feature film to be shot over 25 days in Tahoe, near Sunnyside. 95% of the movie is on one estate there. We are hoping to find people who can work as locals in this area. If you have a place to live/stay or have friends you can stay with while shooting please feel free to apply. If you CANNOT work local, DO still send your information and we may want to talk anyway.
The movie is called the Last Weekend. It’s about a dysfunctional family coming together for one last four-day weekend together in their family home. It’s a small cast of about a dozen. It’s a low-budget film in the 2 mil range. There will be a recognizable cast, but we’re not contracted yet. It’s a definite Sundance type film. Filming will begin the week of labor day and go for about 5 weeks. While prep will begin in early-mid August.
We’re collecting resumes now, and hoping to do interviews in the Tahoe area next Friday July 20th with one of our producers. This won’t be your only chance to interview as we’ll be back again before we begin prep, but we’re hoping to figure quickly who we can find local.
