Music Video Shot at Tahoe Production House

By April 17, 2012March 16th, 2016Video

Tahoe Production House recently had the pleasure hosting a music video production in our studio. South Lake Tahoe local band, The Kings of Mowtown, worked with director Amir Proushani to shoot their first music video for their song “Face Forward” Proushani—a graduate of UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television—has directed and produced four music videos in London. His work with Kings of Midtown will be his first in the U.S. produced video. Amir decided to take on the project after seeing the band play and getting to know the band members.

Shooting with Amir and the band at Tahoe Production House was definitely action packed and high energy! Shooting lasted from early in the evening Saturday til the wee hours of the night Sunday. Only to return again on Monday for more shooting. Most of the video production was done against our green screen for Proushani to add visuals in post production. A highlight of Saturday’s shoot was the introduction into one of the scenes of a bad ass hoola hoop dancer wearing a bear hat. This will be fun to see how it all plays out in the final cut.

Shooting for the music video also took place at other locations in and around South Lake Tahoe with close upwards of 50 people to appear in the video. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished video.

Kings of Midtown band members are Russ Kai, Zach Barnhill and Chris Pollock
