One of Tahoe Production House’s New Year Resolutions was to find a way to give back in our community.

We have started a great partnership with the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and the El Dorado Animal Shelter to take photos of the adoptable animals each week.

Today was our first day, and wow, did we meet some amazing animals that are looking for their forever home!  Below is more information on the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and the El Dorado Animal Shelter and how you can help!

The Lake Tahoe Humane society Founded in 1967, The Lake Tahoe Humane Society and S.P.C.A. through the years has provided a variety of programs including animal sheltering, animal protection, spay-neuter subsidies, and support to keep animals in their homes. Today our focus is on cruelty prevention and environmental awareness through advocacy and education. Disaster preparedness and disaster relief also are priorities. Working in partnership with other agencies, we promote shelter adoptions, maintain a pet food bank, subsidize spay-neuter fees, are prepared to set up temporary animal shelters when disaster strikes, and offer innovative education programs such as “My Reading Buddy”. You can share in our work by making sure your gift for the animal’s stays in Lake Tahoe. There is no national animal welfare organization or affiliation to help Tahoe animals. Direct your giving to the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and S.P.C.A. to support local programs.

Together, we can “Keep Tahoe Kind”
