Casey’s An American Cantina, Lake Tahoe’s newest and most friendly casual restaurant, is located where the Coyote Grill was, next to Safeway in the Round Hill Center, at
Zephyr Cove, NV, on Hwy 50 just minutes away from the Casino corridor. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served 7 days a week from 8AM to at least 9PM. New owners have made Casey’s a wonderful place for tourists and locals alike to enjoy great food, drink and local live entertainment.
It’s also a good place to watch “The Game” because it’s sure to be on at least one or more of the 8 TV’s, no matter what game you are interested in. You can even watch the Giants games from a real stadium seat from Candlestick Park, autographed by Willie Mays and Willie McCovey.
Under new ownership, Casey’s has undergone a significant renovation from the old Coyote Grill days to go along with a renovated new menu but retained the same great staff who have served customers in the past including Joanna, Adela, Joy, Char, and Joe! The restaurant has a warm, clean new look and been reconfigured to accommodate small to large size families or groups. Casey’s is, of course, dog friendly, providing a shaded doggie watering station. Casey’s offers attentive, friendly service and exceptional value. Happy Hour pricing applies every afternoon for any beer or house wine. And bring your appetite! The portions are beyond generous.
Casey’s “Really Good Basic Burgers” are all fresh half pound beef patties (from Tahoe’s locally owned Overland meats) on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Check out their burger and handdipped milkshake combo. A favorite of the various specialty burgers is “Casey’s Western Bacon Burger”, Casey’s homemade pizzas are also fantastic! On the lighter side, you’ll love their entree salads featuring an Ahi tuna salad or you can go with the signature Firecracker Chicken Salad, made with fresh greens and vegetables topped with chicken tenders, tossed in a buffalo sauce.
For a little south of the border action, check out Casey’s “Mexican Comida” menu! Other “Mexican Comida” items include the Monster Burrito, Ahi Tuna Tacos, Fajitas, Tostada de Jorge and more! Breakfast menu offers the popular Swedish Pancakes/Creps with lingonberry Butter…amazing. Kids may order from their own special menu and always eat free on Wednesdays! But any day of the week, you can enjoy an old fashion hand dipped milkshake which comes with the mixing can to refill your glass with. Local Alpen Coffee and Tea and Coca Cola softdrinks are featured. Casey’s has added “the Living Room at Casey’s”, a function room with professional sound equipment for live entertainment which can serve as a private room to accommodate your next reunion, wedding party, meeting or special gathering.
