On Saturday, October 13th, the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe (BGCNLT) will hold the inaugural BE5K – Run, Walk or Stroll for Kids, complete with Superhero theme! The Club invites families and the community to come out to support kids on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe while enjoying a beautiful 5k course in Incline Village, Nevada. The course will start and end on the Village Green and with thanks to the Board of Lake Tahoe’s Movement of Wings, the overall event will follow the template that was used at the Butterfly Effect 5K Thyroid Cancer Run in the same location back in 2015. The donated template includes the same 5k course and sets the foundation for many similar features, including an awards ceremony on the green after the run, face painting, music, snacks as well as an opportunity for community partners to table on the green for the event.
So, come out to support kids and BE anything that inspires you while dressed in your Superhero best for BE5K!
