Tahoe Production House just wrapped production on another year of Rock Tahoe! We love working with Epic Tahoe Adventures on this family friendly event that is popular with the locals as well as the visitors. Production wise, this is a large and fast paced event for our team to capture. In order to get everything we need, we had 1 ground team and 1 Drone team working the course to capture all the great footage from the race. After the shoot, we did a same day edit on site for the client. Take a look at the finished product below!
The 13.1 mile course will take you from Spooner Summit (Hwy 28 & Hwy 50) south along the beautiful east shoreline of Lake Tahoe. There is no shortage of amazing scenery as you pass Logan Shoals, run through Cave Rock and weave along the bike path through historic Round Hill Pines, Nevada Beach and Rabe Meadow. To cap off the awesomeness of the course, we will be throwing a finish line party like no other! Click here to view and download a copy of the course map.

No dogs are allowed on the course.

SHUTTLE SERVICE
Runners can relax race morning knowing they will get to the starting line on time with our shuttle service! Shuttles will leave directly from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and drop off at the starting line. Racer Drop Bags will also be available for runners to check in items they do not want on the course, and bags will be available for pickup at the finish line.

7am Start folks do NOT need to sign up — you’ll all be on the 5:45am bus!
If you have friends/family that want to watch the start, unfortunately, there is no parking available at the start due to construction. Spectators cannot ride the shuttle. There is one lane of the southbound highway that is open, so spectators will be able to drive back to South Lake Tahoe after dropping off at the start. Spectators will not be allowed to stop on the race course. The best place for them to cheer you on is at the finish line.
