Since 1991 the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe has been providing children and teens with a safe, positive and welcoming environment where they can have fun and enhance their
education and life experiences. Donations enable our doors stay open to the children of our community and every child should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential, how can you help?
2019 marks the 26th anniversary of the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Annual Golf Classic. Edgewood Tahoe has so graciously provided the Club with private access to one of the world’s premier courses. Up to 36 foursomes enjoy breakfast and drinks before a round of golf with on course entertainment, drinks and competitions. Players then return to the Club House to enjoy a delicious dinner with complimentary wine and beer.
A tradition of the Golf Classic is to have a hole-in-one competition on holes 5, 7, 12 and 17, with Hole no. 17 giving you the chance to win a car!
In recent years the Classic has been extremely well supported by the Barton Orthopedics Center, Weidinger PR, STR, MacDuff’s Pub, BELFOR and US Bank and we are always looking to expand and partner with more amazing supporters.
With Edgewood Tahoe’s generosity, 100% of the money raised at the Golf Classic comes directly to the Club. This means that every penny donated in the past 25 years (an estimated $800,000) has gone directly to serving and supporting the youth of our community.
