The Marce Herz Foundation – Ribbon Cutting – Video Production – 2021

By October 18, 2021December 29th, 2022Video, Video Production

The Marce Herz Foundation is dedicated to carrying on the vision of Marce Herz, a champion skier, youth world-record holder, and community advocate who believed that all children should have the opportunity to experience the thrill and joy of snow sports. Through initiatives like the Snowriders Program, Far West and NIAA scholarships, they are able to share the love of skiing and snowboarding with the youth in our community.

Tahoe Production House was excited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new middle school and capture the moment on video. This special event marked the official opening of the school and highlighted the impact it will have on the community. We were honored to be a part of this momentous occasion and to document the excitement and anticipation surrounding the foundation and the school’s future. We look forward to seeing the positive difference that the middle school will make in the lives of students and the community as a whole.  Take a look at the completed video below:

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Marce Herz Foundation was founded in honor of Marce Herz, a champion skier and youth world-record holder who believed that all children, regardless of their economic background, should have the opportunity to experience the thrill and joy of snow sports. Marce was also a community advocate and visionary who co-founded the Sky Tavern Jr. Ski Program, which has provided ski and snowboarding instruction to over 100,000 children since its inception in 1948.

Today, the Marce Herz Foundation continues to carry on Marce’s vision through initiatives such as the Snowriders Program and Far West and NIAA scholarships, which provide access to snow sports for youth in the community. We believe that winter sports can teach children much more than just how to ski or snowboard – they can help develop clear communication skills, build confidence, and encourage a sense of empowerment. That’s why we work to ensure that all children have the opportunity to experience the joy and thrill of snow sports.

MHMS is dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students in grades six through eight. As part of the Washoe County School District, we are proud to be a part of the local community and are pleased to have recently been rezoned to Galena High School, ensuring a smooth transition for our students as they progress to secondary education. We look forward to supporting the growth and development of our talented and motivated students as they embark on their academic journey.
