Tahoe Production House was honored to be a part of the Boys and Girls Club 2022 Golf Classic, which took place on June 10th, 2022 at the beautiful Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. As a proud supporter of the Boys and Girls Club, we were thrilled to donate our services and produce a commercial and overview video for the event.
The Boys and Girls Club is a vital community organization that provides educational, athletic, and social programs for children and youth throughout the Lake Tahoe area. The annual Golf Classic is one of their biggest fundraising events, and we were excited to be a part of it.
Our team of experienced videographers worked tirelessly to capture the essence of the event, showcasing the excitement and energy of the participants and volunteers. We used a mix of on-course footage, interviews with players, and shots of the beautiful Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course to create a dynamic overview video that truly captured the spirit of the day.
We also produced a commercial that was played before the event on the website, newsletter, and social media channels. It highlighting the importance of supporting the Boys and Girls Club and encouraged participants to donate and get involved.

The History of the Golf Classic & BGCLT
2018 marks the silver anniversary of the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Annual Golf Classic. For 25 years, Edgewood Tahoe, has generously provided the Club with private access to one of the world’s premier courses, voted number 1 Resort Hotel in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure Magazine. Our players enjoy breakfast and drinks before a round of golf, on course refreshments, entertainment and competitions. After 18 holes, they return to the Clubhouse to enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and a turkey carving station with complimentary wine and beer.
A tradition of the Golf Classic is to have a hole-in one competition on Hole X and closest to the pin on hole X. In recent years, thanks to Reno Jaguar Land Rover, we have added the ability to win a brand new car to the hole in one options.
A number of the Club’s Board Members have participated in every Golf Classic. These include Jeff Tillman as a player and Valerie Rudd as one of our wonderful on course volunteers. In recent years the Classic has been extremely well supported by Barton’s Physical Rehabilitation Team, Weidinger PR, STR, Belfor, Sysco, US Bank and MacDuff’s Public House.
Edgewood Tahoe’s generosity means that 100% of the money raised at the Golf Classic comes directly to the Club. This means that every penny donated in the past 25 years (an estimated $750,000) has gone directly to serving and supporting the youth of our community.

We believe in education, and to that end we make sure our members are introduced to the joy of learning through fun and entertaining lessons and activities. Our Program Leaders design programs that engage our members in reading, spelling, and writing to develop their Language Arts Skills. They integrate math into sports programs so that our members are constantly practicing what they are learning in school and applying that knowledge to real-life situations. We also explore science, geography, history, and fitness. At the end of the day, we want to know that we have given our members the opportunity to excel in all areas of their life.
