Tahoe Production House was honored to collaborate with the Gatekeeper’s Museum on a recent video project celebrating local history and community connection.
Our team provided full post-production support, editing and delivering a series of videos designed for both social media and in-museum display — bringing the museum’s stories and events to life through sound, visuals, and storytelling polish.
🎬 Project Overview
We completed two main video projects for the museum:
-
- Chamber Mixer Highlight Video — A 30-second promotional edit with music and graphics showcasing the museum’s recent event and its role as a community hub.
- Historical Video Clips — A series of six videos, including
- Four 30-second social media clips
- Two longer pieces designed to play on rotation within the museum exhibits
Each video was carefully edited from timecoded historical footage provided by the museum, ensuring both accuracy and storytelling impact.
Additionally we got to do one FUN video for Halloween!
Our post team handled:
- Video cleanup & color correction for archival consistency
- Music selection to enhance emotional tone without overpowering narration
- Graphic overlays & titles for clarity and branding
- Social media optimization, exporting both .mov and .mp4 formats
The result? A cohesive library of video assets that the museum can use across exhibits, social channels, and community outreach — helping share Tahoe’s unique history with visitors and locals alike.
💙 A Community Collaboration
Working with Susan Winter and the Gatekeeper’s Museum team was a true pleasure. We loved learning more about the museum’s efforts to preserve and celebrate the rich history of Lake Tahoe — from its early settlers to its cultural evolution.
Tahoe Production House is proud to support local nonprofits and historical institutions like the Gatekeeper’s Museum through creative media that connects past and present.
