With the huge success of blog-based websites like WordPress and Joomla (i.e., Content Management Systems), many small business owners looking to upgrade their outdated websites are being told to start a blog-based website platform. To help small business owners understand the essential importance of blogs, we put together an easy to follow summary to answer the typical questions we hear from small businesses: Why Should I Blog? What should I Blog about?
Video production has changed considerably in the last ten years. To shoot “High Definition” video, in the early years of this century, you needed a camera more expensive than two cars, and an editing system that was equal in value to a small two bedroom home.
Got a smart phone? Own a computer? You are now a video production company. Most recent phones can shoot HD video, and your home computer is already installed with video editing software on PCs and Macs.
Tahoe Production House, in South Lake Tahoe, differs from “your” video production company in the level of quality we deliver our Clients. Quality means: the use of professional equipment and 30 years of experience shooting and editing video.

TAHOE — The 2012 Tahoe show is still two months away, but Chris Minnes, one of the promoters of the show, has been busy.
“It’s our second year and right now we are focused on the pre-show stuff and the at-the-show stuff like Tahoe TV,” Minnes said.
This is Wayne Carlson and I’m so proud and excited to be with Tahoe Production House. This will be my first blog of many to come. First off, you can read a bit about my professional background in my bio.
As a professional audio engineer, I’ve had innumerable experiences that have gotten me to where I am at today.
I’ve been involved in audio recording and live sound since the 70s. Since then, I’ve also been a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) which has given me more audio knowledge than you can imagine. From the seminars and classes to speaking with the “top” audio engineers in the world…is more schooling then you can possibly pay for.
Tahoe Production House recently participated in a video production in partnership with South Lake Tahoe High School and Douglas High School. Tahoe Production House was tasked with documenting a powerful program designed to discourage teenage drinking and driving and texting and driving.
“Every 15 Minutes” is a national and global program that takes place at high schools all over the country and world: “Unique in its design and powerful in its impact, “Every 15 Minutes” is an educational experience that reminds us all of the dangers associated with driving while impaired and texting.” A serious automobile accident is dramatically staged—with members of the student body “acting” as drunk drivers and their passengers—and the rest of the students watch what unfolds as first responders care for the wounded and “dead.”
