Tahoe Production House Partners with Condé Nast Traveler x GQ for a Cinematic Production in Reno

Tahoe Production House recently had the honor of collaborating with Condé Nast Traveler and GQ for an exciting video production project in Reno, Nevada. This dynamic partnership brought together creative talents to produce two captivating videos shot entirely on iPhones, showcasing the vibrant energy and unique experiences offered by Reno.

The project spanned three days, with July 16 designated as the scout day and July 17-18 as the shoot days. Tahoe Production House meticulously coordinated the logistics, including location scouting, permits, and equipment setup, to ensure a seamless production process.

Under the direction of Condé Nast Traveler and GQ, the talented production crew brought the vision to life. Led by DP Canyon Florey, the team utilized state-of-the-art equipment, including the latest iPhone models, a Movi Pro Gimbal, lighting kits, and sound recording gear, to capture stunning visuals and crisp audio.

In addition to the technical aspects, the project also required careful coordination of talent, including hair and makeup by Lisa Pietrzak, wardrobe styling by Kat Elliott, and on-set support from PA Brandi Brown. The collaborative efforts of everyone involved ensured that the shoot ran smoothly and efficiently, resulting in high-quality footage that exceeded expectations.

The shoot locations, including the iconic Atlantis Reno and Peppermill, provided the perfect backdrop for the videos, showcasing the luxurious amenities and vibrant atmosphere of Reno’s hospitality scene. The production team worked closely with the Reno Tourism Board to secure permits and access to the desired locations, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

Post-production efforts were equally meticulous, with Tahoe Production House delivering the final videos in multiple formats, along with audio stems, video stills, and project files, meeting the stringent requirements of Condé Nast Traveler and GQ.
